Donna H. Minshew, CFPTM,RPSM
Donna came to WESBAN
in 1984 from a background of teaching, real estate, and administrative assistant
for an industrial distribution firm. She began her work in planning as the Office Manager of WESBAN where she handled client relations, computer
operations, and portfolio monitoring. Donna was born 1954.
Donna assumed
ownership of WESBAN on 01/01/01. She now serves as president of WESBAN
serving as principal planner and manager of the corporation. She was the first
practicing planner in Alabama to complete her certification as a Registered Paraplanner. Subsequently she has completed the requirements for full
certification as a Financial Planner (CFP™), a designation held by few fee-only
planners in the nation.
She keeps up with
regulatory matters affecting clients and their financial plans. Clients count on
Donna to keep them abreast of their investments and their account status. She
monitors a portfolio of some 40 million dollars in supervised mutual funds.
Donna is an Investment
Adviser Representative. Her expertise and
insights are always available to assist clients in implementing their plans and
in finding answers to their financial planning questions. She is a member
of the Financial Planning Association and National Association of Personal
Financial Planners and has recently received her certification as a 529
consultant - Savings For College.
She is an active
member of Valleydale Baptist Church. She was the Valedictorian of her high
school class and took additional studies at UAB.
